What You Will Do:
As a Systems Engineer, Level 3 supporting operations in Australia, you will play a critical role in the design, maintenance, and reliable operation of computer systems at a secure client site. You will ensure optimal system performance, maintain data integrity, and provide technical support for network, hardware, and software infrastructure. Your expertise will help ensure mission success by keeping systems secure, compliant, and operational for end users.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and define system architecture for new and existing computer systems.
- Maintain, configure, and ensure reliable operation of computer systems.
- Provide technical support for networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures.
- Troubleshoot moderately complex hardware and software issues.
- Train end users on the proper use of hardware and software.
- Install and upgrade operating systems and software packages.
- Monitor and tune systems for optimal performance.
- Ensure data integrity with standard software and hardware solutions.
- Perform regular backups and database archiving to ensure recoverability.
- Conduct hardware and software audits to ensure compliance with policies and standards.
- Ensure systems meet performance and security requirements.
- Evaluate existing systems and assist in long-term planning strategies.
- Mentor and provide guidance to less-experienced team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in systems administration and systems architecture.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Ability to work independently in a secure, OCONUS environment.
- Knowledge of system monitoring, tuning, and performance optimization.
- Experience conducting audits to ensure compliance with security and configuration guidelines.
- Ability to train end users effectively.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED and 25 years of relevant experience. Or
- Bachelor’s degree in any field and 20 years of relevant experience.
Certifications:
- Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 requirements
Clearance Requirement:
- Must possess an active TS/SCI with appropriate Polygraph to be considered for this role
