Aerotech is an Australian aircraft maintenance organisation, holding CASA, EASA, FAA, 2-REG, BCAA and other NAA Part 145 maintenance approvals for all major aircraft types.

Position Description
Candidates will be involved with maintaining narrow and wide body aircraft, registered worldwide owned by major airlines and leasing entities. Contract work - 8 - 12 weeks. Flights and accommodation included.
Aircraft storage maintenance activities include:
- aircraft induction, including engine / APU preservation
- periodic maintenance checks
- AD's, customer work requests, aircraft inspections
- aircraft reactivation including engine de-preservation, gear retraction testing
- Involvement in component changes, engine runs
Candidates must have strong technical knowledge of their aircraft type, aptitude for troubleshooting and defect rectification. You will be required to complete assigned tasks in accordance with the relevant approved documentation.
Candidate Requirements
- Work rights in Australia (NO VISA CANDIDATES)
- Eligible to hold Australian ASIC, airport ADA, radio licence
- Ability to demonstrate recency with comprehensive work logbook
- Strong IT capabilities given candidates will utilise the Aerotech maintenance platform
- Ability to work in a team environment
Desirable Criteria
- Experience working on any of:
- Boeing Aircraft
- Airbus Aircraft
- CASA / EASA Part 66 licence
- Boeing Aircraft
Location based at the APAS Facility, Alice Springs Airport, Alice Springs, Northern Territory.
RequirementsQualifications & Skills:
- Experience working with Boeing and/or Airbus aircraft
- Exceptional technical understanding of prominent aircraft models.
- Strong IT skills with proficiency in the Microsoft Office application suite.
- Inventive troubleshooting and resilience under challenging scenarios.
- Experience with specified aircraft propulsion systems.
- Certification for elevated work platforms.
- Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate (AROC).
